We just had a long weekend up here in Canada. and, OH, how we love the long weekends!

May Long Weekend is significant because it is the passage weekend that takes us into summer. But by the cold weather right now, you would not know this. : (

Moving on...

In years past my May Long Weekend has been spent away with my Moon Sisters up in Manning Park where we rent a cabin and enjoy each others company, along with some Moon sister

silliness; ie The Ridiculous Formal Evening and Tickle Trunk Time.

But alas, with babies and commitments the Manning Park Trip was past over this year.

All was not lost, however, as I had a wonderful event filled long weekend which included a lunch with some of my Moon Sisters.

These are a few of the things I was loven’ this weekend.....

Loven’ time at the local Farmers Market...

A trip to the ocean always give that loven’ feeling..

NOT loven’ that the wind took The Scientists “special” fedora and threw it in the ocean to, painfully, drift away!

Loven’ to see The Rock Star at his new job...

He’s loven’ that we dropped by to take pictures of him!!!

No really he was.....not!!! lol

He was such a good sport!

Loven’ celebrating Danika’s birthday with her...mmmm ICE CREAM CAKE!!!

So loven’ and slow morning where colouring and breakfast can co-exist...

Loven’ and am excited that a birdie couple have chosen to have their family in our back yard bird house. Mamma was inside nesting while Papa was watching me closely from another tree...hope to have a pick of them in the future.

So loving my full hardy herb garden this year. Some we started from seed in the garden, some were started in the greenhouse and some bought at The Rock Star’s work.

This year I have a wide variety of herbs and teas, everything from Lavender, Evening PrimRose, thyme, Oregano, Basil, Dill, Marjoram, and on and on. Can’t wait to see what it will look and smell like when everything is full grown

From the personal packaging to the added gift, all was warmly received.

2 pairs of earrings for me and one pair as a gift...ahhhhhh...so loven’ that!

Loved spending an afternoon with these 3 lovely ladies....my Moon Sisters

Just can’t get enough of these girls!!!

We are all so unique from one another, but the threads are woven deep and tight with in us...they are a real blessing to me. (sadly we were missing two)

And last but so not least, LOVEN’ what is blooming in my garden and in the Rock Stars heart.

Take some time to listen to the tune below. He wrote and composed it in just over an hour. He is playing the guitar and the piano, and though he does play the drums just did an add in to save time. He just started to play the piano two weeks ago. And YES I am a proud mamma!
