SEEKING STILLNESS
SEEKING STILLNESS
WORDLESS WEDNESDAY, WITH A FEW WORDS
Wednesday, February 17, 2010
Around me are women, like me, who are feeling the pull
...the pull to stillness.
It is like stillness has been following us and has finally touched our shoulder with a strength that we have noticed. The touch of stillness, has made it’s way inside our bones, into our minds, into our hearts and now that we have felt the touch, we are seeking more.
Seeking to be wrapped in the comfort of stillness that allows us to find our true selves. Seeking the stillness that allows us to hear our Spirit, to follow our Soul, to see our true life purpose.
It is not easy to be still, it a world that moves so fast...so here today, I offer a space to just be...to listen, to look, to feed your spirit...to take a moment to enter a world of beauty and stillness.
Silent war is declared
Vision fails when the soul’s impaired
Noises numb the mind and
Love grows cold with time
If nothing fills the empty hole
That every human heart knows
Chorus:
So I will wait for you
Till fire burns, the earthquakes, and the waves are few
Cause silence is where you like to stay
So here I am I’m waiting for You
In this quiet place
Verse 2:
Running hard to ignore
The lonely places you’ve been before
But you feel time is slipping
And there’s still so much you’re missing
And to heal means tears must show
But you’re not weak to just let go
Bridge:
I believe
I’m in need
So dear sweet savior
Come rescue me
To all of you on the journey,
know that you are not alone...
never alone
love and light
