Today was a short shift, just 2 hours. but the sun was shining and the air was cold and crisp and people were feeling good.

-an elderly man stopped to chat with me. i asked him is he was having a good day...he told me that as long as he is walking he is having a good day

-moms were shopping with their grumpy teenage daughters

-a woman apologized to me for not being able to donate “ I wish I could but I can’t” “you don’t worry about that darlen’”...she made me want to hug her

-I had to eat my judgment of an early 20’s girl who had walked by a few times...she was “done up” I thought to myself she would never give...too into herself...she gave her last time walking by me....judgment tastes slightly bitter...I would not recommend it

-lots of little critters today...I think I will get some andy canes this weekend to give out next week

-I am loving doing this
