LONGING FOR HOME
LONGING FOR HOME
S.A.C.K.A....DAY 6
Wednesday, December 16, 2009
That is my living room....where I wanted to be all day. Where I wanted to sit forever with a friend and catch up...(which I did get to do this morning...only I wanted it to last.) Where I wanted to read my new book and drink tea.
This is the couch I wanted to sit and do that reading on while tea sipping.
Where I wanted to sit and be still, while looking out my front bay window.
This is the front bay window that I wanted to look out of while being still.
mmmm I love my living room.....I love my home....did I mention that I wanted to stay there all day?
But today was day 6 for me to ring my bells. Can you sense the mood I had about that today??? yeah, not so good. I really really did not want to go...I really really wanted to stay home...but I think that I have already mentioned that....perhaps.
Today it was lashing rain, washing any remaining snow down the drains. And it was windy...not an icy cold wind, mind you, but windy all the same. And it was dreary...very very dreary...thus the desire to stay home and get comfy...okay okay I will be quiet about that now.
So day 6...and I would dare say a bit of a grumpy day 6...I didn’t even take my camera.
I figure you have probably seen enough pics of my bells, my spot, etc. etc. Funny thing is some of the “regulars” noticed that I did not have my camera. You think that people don’t notice....but some actually do.
Nothing much to report today...oh except for the “big man” security guard who I had the pleasure to observe...oh yeah ...”big man on campus”. (as you can see my “mood” really added to the things I observed!!!)
As I said earlier it was lashing rain and very windy. So in this kind of weather the older generation have a system in which the male will stay in the car waiting for the female to gather the groceries. And then when it is time the make will drive curb side so that the female will be exposed to as little of the elements as possible, Now sometimes the males would come a little before the females would be ready...or it just took a while for her to shuffle to the car, remember we are talking older generation. I observed this behaviour very frequently today and found it ever so endearing. the “big man” security guard, however, not so much. he saw it as an opportunity to “flex some muscle” so to speak. I want to point out at this time that there was not much muscle to be speak of....
So I observed the 30 something security guard, who by the way probably still lives with his mother, observing these lovely couples doing there picking up ritual and actually stepping in when the male was up at the curb for more than 2 minute to shoo him along...leaving the female confused about where her male was, and also frustrating the male who would then have to drive around through the busy parking lot once again only to come back to where he was, to retrieve his female. It was a silly practice as the male was safer to the general public parked by the curb, off the beaten track, waiting for his female. Silly security guard.....”big man” picking on grandparents. The best was when he would go in for the kill right when the female arrived and then had to veer off covering his tracks and acting like he was doing something else...lol....I thought he was a bit of a goof.
Enough said.
Okay and then there was the woman was was not wearing a bra....and let me tell you girls she needed to be! Where is the line there? Do you go up to a sister and say “Hey those girls need a little harnessing there friend.” I mean what is the protocol here ladies...and by they way does that not hurt??? I mean they were hangen’ low...AND it was cold...if you know what I mean. And yes I took a few looks because I just had to be sure about the whole thing...and oh yeah...I saw what I saw. Funny thing was she was dressed really nice....but no bra....mmmm did she forget? I am going to go with no as she was mmmm... blessed in that area. Is it a turn on???? Is she anti-bra????
Maybe I should of just asked her eh?
Well it made for an interesting moment...or a few moments anyways.
Well,I guess it was just one of those days...
and as usual, every cloud has a silver lining....
after the rain was done lashing...
the sun came out and God smiled down on a grumpy me.
(For pics of the boys enjoying the snow...go into picture albums...enjoy)
grumpy me is going to sip tea and watch a movie now....hopefully I will not be grumpy next time I am here.....xo
